Can a "GHOST" follow me home??

Can A Ghost Follow Me Home From An Investigation?

I can't tell you how many people have warned

me about this or ask me if they really can.

Here's the scoop...

One can never make a blanket statement about the activities of

spirits. Remember were dealing with individuals and like you

and me...Their all different too.

We seldom worry about whether or not the people we meet will

follow us home. The same principle holds true and usually can be

applied to ghosts.

Ghosts have to be approached one by one. Being their all

different, most ghosts have a reason to be wherever they happen

to be.

Sometimes it is unfinished business from when they were alive.

For some, they haunt a given area because of a traumatic event

or a quick and un-expected death. Others, perhaps are afraid to

move on and stay at the location they feel most comfortable in.

None the less, they all have a different reason to be where

we find them. Additionally, ghosts need an anchor, a point of

attachment as most humans do - a place to call home.

Ghosts don't tend to be nomadic or are known to roam, wandering

from one place to the next as if they were a homeless person

or a drifter.

Each and every location you investigate will always be filled

with the unknown, But I can say over several decades of paranormal

investigation and research, and coming in contact of all types

of unknowns...neither I nor anyone on any of my investigative

teams has ever had anything follow them home.

The preliminary investigation can often answer the question

before hand, as to whether or not a spirit will follow you

anywhere. Every site is different, so use your common sense

and plan each investigation before starting.

After all, there are no "guarantees" in paranormal investigating.

In conclusion, it is extremly doubtful a ghost will follow you

home. As I mentioned before each are different. Some have

different abilities, some may go wherever they choose.

Others are stuck at the location they haunt and couldn't

follow you if they wanted. But most are at the location they

haunt for a reason, and we the living aren't it.

It's never a bad idea to say a prayer prior to an investigation

I always do, a little added armor doesn't hurt...

Two things all ghost hunters should know

Posted by Joseph on July 27, 2010 at 12:16 PM Comments comments (3)

Demonic Possession

It's extremely rare that you will ever hear of a full-fledged demonic possession. But it is something that all ghost hunters need to be aware of and briefed on. Full-possession requires an "invitation" in order to gain a foothold. However, there are activities that can be construed as an invitation. i.e. Ouija boards, séances, etc. A person with heavy addictions, sins, depression or someone who is desperately lonely are more apt to be targets. When any type of invitation is construed, whether implied or direct, it may very well be acted upon by such evil entities. Even with all that, it's still rare that evil will triumph successfully, but it is possible in some cases. Ghost hunters are somewhat susceptible because of the nature of their work.

Lower Level Entities

There are other less severe life forms that we need to be aware of as well. They are evil and are here to weaken the population through their influence. Their ultimate goal is to distract us from our life duties and make us as unproductive as possible. These creatures are subtle but very much determined. People that allow themselves to be heavily influenced in this direction are also more prone to demonic possession. This type of entity uses distraction through such things as computers, video games, unwholesome activities, etc. If you miss out on important family outings or you lose your job because you want to stay home and play video games, etc, then they have gained some control. It's called, lower level possession.

Oujia board thesis

I do not believe that you are able to contact the dead using a piece of cardboard with the alphabet on it. If anyone is up to the task of proving me wrong, I maintain an open mind and will listen to your claim. Here is my theory on how the Ouija board works. I believe that the Ouija board is nothing but a self hypnotizing board game. All hypnosis is self hypnosis. Everyone has heard stories about the Ouija board and how renown it is for contacting "The other side". That renown builds expectancy for someone who has never used the Ouija board before. What that expectancy does is creates belief in non-analytical people that something paranormal will take place. In example, if you were not local to my town and I told you that there was a gas station a quarter mile down the road you probably wouldn't question that. So what happens while using the Ouija board is, subconsciously, the answers spelled out are the answers created in the user's subconscious mind. The subconscious mind controls everything you do internally. Your heart beat, breathing, everything you do without thinking. Your subconscious mind can also generate involuntary movement. Which may be why the pallet is only able to move with your hands on it. These answers spelled out are either to scare others or oneself, or to comfort the user. (Mostly communication with a deceased relative or friend.) This is why you cannot use the Ouija board while blindfolded. Your subconscious mind needs vision to spell.

People who contact the same "spirit" every time, are sucessful because they expect that to happen, so their subconscious mind makes it happen. They create the answers they want or others want. The better your imagination the more active the Ouija board session will be. People who never have any luck with using the board are usually skeptics. Most skeptical people are also highly analytical and are not willing to be hypnotized. This is because their conscious mind is always in defense, blocking the door to the subconscious. These sort of "Close minded people" are highly unlikely to have any experiences using the Ouija board.

Investigation Guidelines

Two person team: Teams of two investigators will follow these primary guidelines to conduct and document a professional investigation.

First of all, immediately activate digital recorder/s

-It is crucial to document the first and last few minutes of an investigation. This is when Spirits are more inclined to verbally interact with either of the investigators.

Then, after both investigators have all equipment in order,  activate  the Ghost Box in close proximity to a digital recorder.

- For best results the recorder should remain between 1-2 feet away from the Ghost box, with the mic pointing to the speaker.

Next, Investigator 1 will document the base EMF in a notebook, with attention to EMF emitters. While this is taking place, Investigator 2 will take photos of the area.

- Small rooms generally require a minimum of 2 photos.

- Regular sized rooms for the most part require a minimum of 4 photos.

- Larger rooms ordinarily require a minimum of 6 photos. Both investigators are responsible for communicating with the Spirits through the Ghost Box at this time.

After base EMF is documented by Investigator 1, he/she proceeds to take photos of the area. Investigator 2 will proceed to document the base temperature readings in a notebook. Both investigators are responsible for communicating with the Spirits through the Ghost Box at this time.

After both investigators are done taking photos and have recorded both base EMF and temperature readings they must report the base readings to central command for official documentation.

Finally both investigators will perform an EVP session using the Ghost Box, then concluding with five to ten minutes of a traditional EVP session to complete the sweep.

Is your house haunted?

Posted by Joseph on July 23, 2010 at 1:22 PM Comments comments (0)

There are many different signs to tell that your house may be haunted. Here are some examples of things you may notice in a haunted house.

1.) Unexplainable noises. (Banging/Knocking/Dragging)

2.) Doors, cupboards and windows being repeatedly opened and closed on their own.

3.)  Items being moved around or hidden. It is common that usually a metal item (Silverware, keys) will be taken, hidden and even twisted around. Some spirits are known to dement kitchen utensils.

4.) Objects levitating on their own. (Floating) Items being dragged across a table. (As if someone were holding the object in their hand but you could not see them)

5.) Televisions and radios playing while unplugged. Electrical problems may be the result of a haunting. Electrical problems commonly have a "non-paranormal" explanation.

6.) New batteries/Charged cameras/Phones/Ipods ect. losing their charge almost instantly after being charged.

7.) You may hear footsteps when you know you are alone in your house. Voices, (Usually whispers) crying and even moaning or screaming.

8.) You may get the feeling of being watched. You may feel like you were touched by someone who wasn't there. (Usually a cold sensation)

9.) You may enter a room and see the impression of a person sitting in a chair or lying on a bed. When you know you are the only one in the house.

10.) You may see shadowy figures move quickly out of the corner of your eye.

11.) You may wake up in the middle of the night at the same time every night for a period of days or even weeks.

12.) You may smell cigar/cigarette smoke. (When nobody smokes in the house) You may smell perfume of flowers.

13.) Unexplained marks, such as scratches, bruises, or impressions may appear on your body.

14.) You may see solid or transparent apparitions. Shadow figures and balls of light.

My advice would be to buy a notebook if you don't already have one and record the time, date and what happened whenever you experience anything in your home. This way, if you call in a paranormal group to help, you will be able to refer personal experiences from the notebook.

Is there anyone here that would like to talk to us?

Can you tell us your name?

How old are you?

Why are you here?

Are you sad or angry?

Are you alone?

How many of you are here?

What is your favorite color?

Do you know what year it is?

If so, please tell me/us.

Can you tell us what happened to you?

Can you see us?

What do we look like?

What color is your hair?

Do you know my name?

Would you like us to leave?

Is there any way that we can help you?

Can you show us what you look like?

Is someone keeping you here?

Are you afraid where you are?

Do you have anything to tell us?

Is this your home?

How long have you been here?

Are you here all the time?

Why are you here?

What is your favorite room in the house?

Is there anyone else here?

What are their names?

Where were you born?

Did you grow up in this area?

Where did you live?

Do you have family here?

Who is the president of the United States?

Can we talk with you again some other time?

Would you make a sound or knock to show us where you are?

Do you know who we are?

How do you feel about us being here?

Is there anything we can do for you?

Can I take your picture?
